Research
My research focuses on documentary cinema, film form, cinematic experience, and questions of truth and representation. I am interested in how cinematic choices influence our understanding of people, ideas, and reality. My current work examines the interview as a documentary form, looking at how its familiar structures can be rethought to bring out different layers of experience, meaning, and subjectivity.
